License & refunds

Your license
A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use Kilobat version 1 on up to two Macs that you own or control. Personal and commercial use are permitted. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Version 1 updates are included; future major upgrades may be sold separately and are optional. Your license to the purchased version does not expire.
Activation requires an internet connection. An activated Mac keeps working offline. Deactivate an old Mac in Settings before moving its activation to another Mac, or contact support if that Mac is no longer accessible. Do not share, resell or publicly post a license key. A refunded or fraudulently obtained license may be deactivated.
The purchase does not transfer ownership of the app, artwork or source code. Third-party components retain their own licenses. Nothing here restricts rights granted by those licenses or rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
Trial and free CLI
The desktop app includes a 14-day full trial starting when you choose to begin it. No card is needed for the trial. At expiry, the app asks for a license; it does not alter your network rules. Settings remains accessible so you can disable filtering. The CLI is free to use independently under the free binary license distributed with it.
Price and refunds
The launch price is $19. The checkout displays the final currency, price and applicable taxes before you pay. To request a refund within 14 days of purchase, contact ping@kilobat.app with your order email and order identifier. No justification is required. Please do not send your full card number or license key.
Refunds are returned through the payment provider to the original payment method, subject to its processing times. A refunded license is deactivated. This voluntary refund policy is additional to your statutory cancellation, conformity, warranty and other consumer rights; it does not replace or reduce them.
Requirements and limits
Kilobat requires macOS 14 or newer on supported Apple silicon or Intel Macs. Some features require macOS permissions or administrator approval. Enterprise Wi-Fi and Apple’s private Instant Hotspot controls may require system settings. Speed, signal and usage measurements are estimates and are affected by network conditions. They are not a service-level guarantee, security certification or an exact billing meter.
Use the app only on systems and networks you are authorized to manage. Rules and network-setting changes may interrupt connectivity. Keep an appropriate recovery path when changing access rules. Kilobat is not a VPN or a replacement for backups or broader device security.
Support and compatibility
Contact ping@kilobat.app for assistance. We do not promise compatibility with every future macOS version or third-party service, or perpetual operation of those services. Any mandatory obligations to provide updates, remedies and support under applicable consumer law remain in effect. No clause here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
